General practice:
If a young person poses a clear danger to themselves and or to others, a warning and eviction notice will usually apply. However, we will endeavour to provide a fair and consistent approach towards young people and the following procedure is designed to encourage positive behaviour:
A first verbal warning will be issued and reasons carefully explained so that individuals are clear about the grounds of complaints / concerns and what action will be taken if the same behaviour is repeated.
A warning will be issued when it is clearly evident that there has not been an improvement or other acts are in breach of the contract.
If the resident will not comply, the placement will be terminated officially.
The referral agency / authority will be notified immediately and the resident will be expected to leave within a given period of time, (normally one month) |
